Blown Away

I fished with Brad & Brett today on one of the trophy lakes in Vermont once more. We were blown off the water by 12:30 P.M. due to an electrical storm that came in like a lion. Up until it arrived, we were doing great! Most of the fish were above 4 pounds and a few were closer to 5. Nothing small today! The winds were from the S/SW at about 5 MPH and the sky was overcast. Air temps were only in the 70’s, but the humidity was almost unbearable. Water temps were in the mid 60’s in most areas of the lake with 68 being the warmest. I would have to say that at least 20 or more of these football like smallies were caught & released in a 4-hour period. Too bad we didn’t have a full day!
