Stormy Weather Largemouth

I fished with Max & Denis for largemouth bass and had great success in the shallow, weedier waters. The air temps were in the 70s at the start of the day but dropped into the low 60s by late afternoon. Surface water temps were in the low 70s and the winds were fron the W/NW at 10 to 20 knots gusting to 30 in the afternoon. Seeking shelter from the stormy conditions, we were able to get out of the winds and catch about 25 to 30 quality bass up to 4.5 pounds. Most fish were caught on slugs, tubes and senkos in 2 to 4 feet of water. Thunder was heard off in the distance several times and heavy rains were seen as well. I think the fish became active just prior to the storm front conditions that were happening all around.
