    More Bruisers

Jim & Jim were back again today for some more bronzeback action once more. The morning air was 64 & the water was 61 degrees. The wind was absolutely insane today! Light S winds increasing, then dying by noon. They then swung around to the N/W and cooled the air by 2:00 PM. The cold air mass really shifted the bite from shallow to deep water and then down to a crawl. We caught fish in the shallows in the morning then in 15 to 25 feet in the afternoon. A storm came in by 3:00 PM and with it winds, rain & thunder. Off we went! Over 50 bass were caught today under extreme conditions. All things considered, a great day!!

    Big Bruisers

Fished with Jim & his nephew, Jim today and they had a ball! The morning temps were 65 degrees and the water temp was 48 degrees. Damn cold night! The winds were from the South at 5 to 10 then increased to 10 to 20 and died off completely by late afternoon. Over 100 bass caught today up to & over 5 pounds. Jerkbaits seemed to work the best with most of the fish coming off of deep edges. There were 3 key spots that were responsible for the bulk of the fish today. Many other places had fish as well! An above average day, finally!

    Double Headers

Fished with Bobby & his friend on Memphremagog again today. The morning air temps were 60 degrees and the water was in the low 50s. It was a sunny day with S/W winds 10 to 20 gusting to 30 mph by the late afternoon. They caught between 50 & 75 bass, both smallmouth & largemouth up to 5 pounds. Most of the fish were caught on Jerk-Baits & Fin-S baits. Many double headers happened during the day, as you can see by the picture. Excellent day overall!

    Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day!Fished Lake Memphremagog with Norman & Rod today. Morning temps were 42 degrees & the water temps were up to 50 degrees, by noon. It was a sunny day with light west winds. We only fished till about 1:00 PM due to a family lunch. Some big fish were caught and about 20 or so were landed on Jerk-Baits & Fin-S baits. Good day overall!

    Just Another Day

Fished with Andre & Jim today. The morning air temps were 38 degrees & the water was 43. Calmer water gave way to winds from the N/NW at 15 to 25 gusting to 35 mph afterwards. Waves became 3 to 5 foot in the afternoon. Over 50 Smallmouth Bass were caught mostly on Jerk-Baits, Rat-L Traps & Fin-S baits under extreme conditions. Good day overall!
