Tough Times Two

Another day with a double-booking saw Cody, Magic and Goose in the morning and Cliff in the afternoon. It was also another scorcher as the temps rose above 90 degrees with sunshine and zero wind. To say It was hot would have been an understatement!

The morning gang managed to get into both bass and walleye, but the bite wasn’t great. We spent the entire 4 hours hitting several places to get it done. Tough bite this morning with more fish lost than landed!

This afternoon wasn’t much different with the loss of a couple of fish right off the start. From there, we moved around a lot and had the lost fish thing follow us around, until finally connecting on some nice walleye. This seemed like a pattern everywhere we went.

Overall, this day was one of the hardest, so far this season! Both trips today were a grind and the fish didn’t make it easy. They just kept coming off! In the end however, everyone had a good time sharing another beautiful day on the water with plenty of laughs along the way!!
