A Productive Morning

Nick and his son Quinton fished with me this morning for a half day trip. Although it was a little cooler when we got started, it was going to warm up to the usual heat later in the day. We began with smallies and had a difficult time on the first two spots, but made up for it on the third. Quinton even managed a good walleye in between the bass. We switched it up for about an hour or so afterwards and targeted some sturgeon. Quinton was able to bring a couple of them to the boat before switching back over to bass again. We finished up the morning with a few more smallies before calling it a day.

Half day trips are always tougher with limited time to get it done. Fortunately, we were able to hook into a good number of fish this morning making it a great outing. Fun times were had by everyone, on this cool morning trip!
