Quebec Fishing Reports
1st outing of the YearMay 4, 2004
Fished with Andre & James on Lake Memphremagog today. Water temps were 41 degrees & the morning air temp was 34.Rat-L-Traps & Fin-S baits fished slowly on the bottom accounted for the 25 Smallies caught. N/W winds of 10 to 20 mph made for a cold day. High reached about 42 degrees with overcast skies & occasional sunny periods. Excellent results for these conditions.Plenty of snow still left on the mountains!

I fished with Darren & Al today on Lake St-Francis for Smallmouth Bass. The air temps were in the low 70s & the water temps were in the upper 60s early going into the lower 70s by days end. It was an overcast day with very little sunshine. Soft plastics were used most of the day to catch the 20 or so bass that came aboard up to 3.5 pounds. All fish were released unharmed!
